With these instructions you will take the right measurements in 5 minutes. And don’t worry: we check every measurement with you before manufacturing.

6-point measurement

Use a steel tape measure and write everything down in millimetres.

  1. Measure the width at the top (1), just below the lintel.
  2. Measure the width in the middle (2), at half height.
  3. Measure the width at the bottom (3), at floor level.
  4. Measure the height on the left (4), from the finished floor.
  5. Measure the height in the middle (5).
  6. Measure the height on the right (6).

We manufacture to the smallest measurement and apply the clearances needed for installation.

Tips for accurate measuring

Finished floor

Always measure with the final floor in place (wood, tiles, micro-cement…).

No skirting or frames

Measure wall to wall, removing the old door frame or architraves.

Send us photos

A photo of the opening with the tape measure helps us spot any issue.

Measuring FAQ

What if the opening is not square?

That is very common. That is why we ask for 6 measurements: we build to the smallest and adjust on installation.

Can you come and measure?

Yes, in Valencia and the surrounding area we can take the measurements ourselves. Just ask.
